Sunday Lunch at The Psalter brings together everything we love about the day: generous food, a proper roast, a good glass of wine and time around the table. Come as a couple, bring the family or gather a larger group and let us look after the rest.
Our Sunday menu takes a modern approach to a British tradition without losing the things that make Sunday lunch feel like Sunday lunch.
Expect generous roasts with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables and proper gravy, alongside seasonal starters, desserts and alternatives for guests who fancy something different.

Choose the number of courses that suits you, then add a carafe of house wine for just £10. It keeps the offer flexible - one course if that is all you fancy, or settle in for two or three.
Sunday Lunch starts at £24 for one course. The wine offer is an optional £10 addition rather than a fixed package.
The menu changes with the seasons, but our current Sunday offering includes roast sirloin of beef, corn-fed chicken and a nut and Puy lentil roast, alongside beer-battered haddock and seasonal starters and desserts.
The idea is simple: traditional where it matters, flexible where it helps.

Children are very welcome at Sunday Lunch. Our Children's Menu is available for guests aged 12 and under, including children's Sunday roasts alongside familiar favourites prepared by our kitchen.
It means the whole table can enjoy Sunday together without asking younger guests to fit around an adult menu.
For larger groups, our lounge bar/private dining room gives us more flexibility beyond the smaller tables in the main restaurant.
Depending on availability and the mix of bookings that Sunday, the space can accommodate larger tables without every group needing to hire it privately. It allows us to look after families, celebrations and groups in a way that suits the occasion.

Sunday Lunch is served every Sunday from 12:00pm-2:30pm.
One course is £24, two courses are £34 and three courses are £45.
Choose one, two or three courses as normal and add a carafe of house wine for £10. The wine offer is optional and can be added regardless of how many courses you choose.
Yes. Our Children's Menu is available for guests aged 12 and under, including children's Sunday roasts.
Yes, subject to availability. Our lounge/private dining room can accommodate groups of 8-20 guests and may be used privately or as additional dining space depending on the service.
Please provide at least 72 hours' notice of allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements where possible. We take reasonable precautions and will always try to accommodate guests, but we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or eliminate all risk of cross-contamination.
